The new summer season is going to start quite sooacttiv dancen. Every week our clients, the hotel guests, arrive in increasing amounts. And this means more activity and work for the entertainment teams. We want to show the hotel guests always the best. During the day, we do workshops, we organize sport competitions and have always a smile and some words for the clients. And during the evenings and nights, we organize amazing shows, games and dances.

And here, in the night entertainment category, we would like to give you a challenge! We are looking for the best Club Dance!

The contest works like this: you send us a video of your most exiting Club Dance. It doesn’t matter, if your entertainer team has already performed and taped the dance several weeks or months ago, or if you are going to start right now with a new Dance. Just send us the video until Wednesday, 2nd of March, at midnight.acttiv dance
You publish the video on our ACTTIV Facebook Wall: or you upload the video directly to our Wall, or you post a link to your video on Youtube. And please don’t forget to give us information about: the name of the Club Dance, the name of your hotel and all the names of the entertainers.

Next week, on Friday morning we will publish the winner of this contest! We will look at the three videos which have most “Likes” or positive comments on our Facebook Wall and out of them, we select one winner!USB de Acttiv

And this is what you can win: the entertainer team with the best Club Dance will receive ACTTIV USB memory sticks with 2GB, one for each person of the team! And we will promote of course the best Club Dance on Facebook and on our ACTTIV-Channel on Youtube!

En una empresa como la nuestra, hemos llegado a la conclusión de que resulta fundamental mejorar nuestro posicionamiento y nuestra imagen dentro del sector. Por ello estamos buscando una persona que sea capaz de canalizar todo esto a través de las distintas herramientas que existen y las que están por llegar (eso si, absténganse pitonisas y vendedores de humo). Por estas razones estamos buscando:

- Una persona con muy buenos conocimientos en Redes Sociales y capacidad para liderar un proyecto de estas características

- Con iniciativa e inquietud por crecer y mejorar constantemente su experiencia en el entorno web 2.0

- Blogero/a con conocimientos en manejo de wordpress / blogger

- Buen comunicador y buena organización

- Una persona abierta y dinámica que aporte nuevas ideas en una empresa con muchísimas posibilidades en el entorno de Redes Sociales

- Con disponibilidad para viajar (bastante)

- Alto nivel de inglés hablado y escrito. Se valorará alemán (aunque este no es indispensable)

- Se valorarán los conocimientos del sector turístico y si además sabe de animación turística, la impresión puede ser inmejorable.

In May ACTTIV organized various events promoting the Canary Islands in and outside Spain. The assigment was given to ACTTIV by Promotur Canarias. Entertainers from ACTTIV have been involved in the organisation of the family day in the Zoo of Madrid. More then 15.000 visitors (free entrance) have had a very special day. In Poland the Canary Islands have been promoted in commercial centres of three mayor cities (Dantzig, Warschauw and Krakovia) and more the 250 travel agencies where visited. In Londen, Regent street was closed to traffic and more then 500.000 persons visited the Taste of Spain day. The Canary Islands where represented by 5 ACTTIV entertainers, 2 face painters, 2 jugglers, 4 mascots, 2 painters, 1 stilt and some dancers.

All events where very succesfull and we want to thank Promotur for this great chance to be helpfull to increase the familiarity of the Canary Islands to the national and international public. And of course we want to thank all Acttiv employees involved in the organisation of the events.

Many tourist entertainers choose to work on a campsite. Entertainment programmes are almost the same for hotels and camp sites but still they are different. The ambiance on a 4 or 5 star luxury camp site is incredible, it is like living in a village (allthough some of these camp sites have over 3000 clients during july and August). ACTTIV organises entertainment programmes for 4 large camp sites in the North East of Spain (Barcelona Area): Camping Montroig, Camping Delfin Verde, Camping El Vendrell and Camping Torre de la Morre.
