As we have already told you in the last post about this contest, the dance which won our contest is from the entertainment team of the Suite Hotel Atlantis, Fuerteventura. Congratulations again from the whole ACTTIV team!

We loved the performance, the entertainment is really great. As it is the end of the evening show, the entertainers include the hotel guests to participate in the dance as they do usually. This is one way you can really live an entertainment experience!

And here, in the night entertainment category, we would like to give you a challenge! We are looking for the best Club Dance!

The contest works like this: you send us a video of your most exiting Club Dance. It doesn’t matter, if your entertainer team has already performed and taped the dance several weeks or months ago, or if you are going to start right now with a new Dance. Just send us the video until Wednesday, 2nd of March, at midnight.
You publish the video on our ACTTIV Facebook Wall: or you upload the video directly to our Wall, or you post a link to your video on Youtube. And please don’t forget to give us information about: the name of the Club Dance, the name of your hotel and all the names of the entertainers.

Next week, on Friday morning we will publish the winner of this contest! We will look at the three videos which have most “Likes” or positive comments on our Facebook Wall and out of them, we select one winner!

And this is what you can win: the entertainer team with the best Club Dance will receive ACTTIV USB memory sticks with 2GB, one for each person of the team! And we will promote of course the best Club Dance on Facebook and on our ACTTIV-Channel on Youtube!

Uno de los objetivos mas importantes por el cual los hoteles desean introducir animación nocturna, es por el consumo de bebidas que se generan  al estar los clientes dentro del hotel participando en la animación. En cambio en hoteles que poseen todo incluido, el fin máximo que tiene la animación nocturna es captar al cliente para que vuelva de nuevo, en ambos complejos es importante dotar al equipo de animación de medios para poder desarrollar un programa exitoso.

A groso modo, podemos diferenciar los establecimientos en este apartado en dos tipos: Los que cuentan con espectáculos profesionales externos contratados por agencias o promotores, y los que combinan shows profesionales con espectáculos creados por el mismo equipo de animación.

Normalmente aunque no siempre, en España los hoteles de tres y cuatro estrellas son los que apuestan más por la animación nocturna diseñada por los propios animadores, y suelen ser los hoteles de cinco estrellas, los que invierten más en espectáculos externos.

Además del momento del show, es importante hacer partícipe al público con juegos interactivos que suelen ser muy divertidos como concursos, quiz de preguntas, loterias, juegos de parejas, etc que aunque son clásicos, a  mucha gente les sigue gustando, sobre todo en hoteles de tres y cuatro estrellas donde por lo general los clientes suelen ser más participativos. Aunque la tendencia está cambiando.

Como bien explica Irving Ribot director de animación de la cadena hotelera Med Playa Hoteles, en la comundidad sobre profesionales del turismo  hosteltur, en su post titulado ¿Animación turística o teatro hotelero? “Sin embargo con el transcurso del tiempo las cosas han cambiado. No sabría decir a ciencia cierta cuándo empezó el cambio pero hoy en día ese visitante que antes era nuestra figura imprescindible  ha decidido convertirse en un observador pasivo de la acción nocturna dentro de los hoteles. Es difícil hoy en día lograr que el cliente se involucre en las noches de participación como lo hiciese antaño, sobre todo el cliente anglosajón prefiere sentarse a disfrutar de una actuación más bien al estilo teatral que ver a sus coterráneos pelear con espadas de globos o caminar con un libro en la cabeza mientras el resto del público ríe”.

Lo cierto es que por las nuevas tecnologías entre otros factores, resulta más difícil sorprender a un público acostumbrado a los efectos especiales de hollywood.

¿Por qué muchas veces los shows creados por los animadores consiguen una mayor valoración por parte del público que los shows profesionales? La respuesta en sencilla, generalmente los clientes empatizan más con los animadores, porque los conocen. Es divertido ver a aquellos con los que juegan, aprenden, y se divierten durante el día, bailando y haciendo sketch de noche. Cada vez los equipos de animación son más profesionales, y muchos de ellos no tiene nada que envidiar a la puesta en escena de los mejores shows profesionales.

Hoy he entrevistado a Salvo Porto. Él es jefe de animación del hotel Ifa Interclub Atlántic. Con solo conversar con él unos minutos consigue  irradiarte de energía, y sabe muy bien como transmitir a su equipo la emoción y la satisfacción que supone hacer Animación. Le he preguntado cuales son los puntos importantes a la hora de crear y poner en escena un show. Enhorabuena crack!

The course is addressed to friendly and dynamic people between 18 to 30 years who want to become entertainers and it covers both theorical and practical lessons: from Sport, Children Activities and Choreography or Shows to Public Relations and Customer Services tips.

Few days back in the post What are you able to? we shared with you the fact that in every course we see how the participants get surprised when they discover some of their skills that had remained hided until then. A tourist entertainer must be versatile and sometimes in order to find out many of our abilities we need to get rid of our nervous, face the situation and, very important, being part of a team.

Do you need any evidence? Seeing is believing, isn´t it?… Therefore here you have it. It is their first time in stage and they look pretty comfortable… It is their first show´s last song; they are the first course 2010 participants, enjoy it as much as they did! Well done guys!
