Animajobs offers jobs in tourist entertainment during the months from April to October in hotels and resorts on the Balearic Islands.

Over this time period, different qualities are sought for sports, all-purpose and family entertainers, in order to cover the vacancies left at large tourist destinations that have, at times, an entertainment staff of over 10 members.

Employment opportunities

Invisa Hotels, Insotel Hotel Group, Hotels Piñero and Club Mac Hotels are the names of some of the hotels where Acttiv employees work (the tourist entertainment company that manages the Animajobs.es website) from April until October.

Not only are there job opportunities in Mallorca, but there is also demand for different qualities in entertainers on the islands of Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. All of the vacancies listed on Animajobs correspond to the summer season, from the opening of the hotels in the months of April and May, until they close again in October.

The entertainment staff is made up of young people from all over the European Union to ensure that hotel guests can always find entertainers who speak their language. In addition to having dynamic and creative qualities, one of the main requirements to work as an entertainer is to speak at least two languages. Speaking perfect Spanish is not obligatory, but you should consider this an opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills.

Tourist Entertainment Courses

Acttiv gives courses in tourist entertainment during the months of April and May in order to put together a staff that is better prepared to meet the entertainment needs of the hotel guests.

There are two types of courses given in the Balearic Islands. On one hand, there are initiation courses in tourist entertainment and on the other, courses that are coordinated with certain hotels or chains to allow the students to get to know the customs of that establishment, its internal organization and a profile of its clientele.

The goal of these courses is for all of the participants to be hired at the end to one of the entertainment staffs. These courses generally last from a week to ten days with no more than 15 students per group.
